On December 1, 1955, History was made on a Montgomery Bus when Rosa Parks decided not to give up her seat to a white passenger and relocate to the then "coloured" section on the bus. This sparked a series of events that brought about changes for the black community. One such change was the Alabama boycott which was led by none other than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This boycott lasted for 381 days and played an integral role in the Civil Rights Movement.
Today, we salute Rosa and I want to honour her by sharing Ten (10) of her quotes as a rememberance of her brave effort.
