Australia: During the 70's many Vietnamese fled from the war in their country and settled in Australia, many making their way in leaky overcrowded wooden boats.
In Melbourne there are a couple of suburbs with significant Vietnamese populations, one is Richmond, where there is a approx 1km strip in which almost every shop is a Vietnamese restaurant or grocer.
